Historic buildings at risk from rock concerts
Rock concerts at some of the UK's most important historic buildings have put them at risk of damage from powerful bass note vibrations, according to research by scientists at Hampton Court Palace. The researchers analysed vibrations caused by the palace's annual summer music festival, which this year featured Bryan Ferry, Tom Jones, Van Morrison and Jools Holland. (14/09) Read
